本学期我承担的是ｘｘ年级的英语教学工作。面对从未接触过英语的小学生，我充满了对他们的喜爱。如何做好他们初学英语的领路人，为他们创设好的英语学习氛围，激发他们学习英语的兴趣，培养他们养成良好的学习习惯是我本学期教学工作的重中之重。万事开头难。刚刚开始教学工作，我开展了以下几方面工作。
1、教学进度的加快和教学内容的精简。
（1）教学进度根据实际情况科学的制定和有效执行从一个侧面反映着教学效果的好坏。ｘｘ年级英语教学进度教材规定的是一周五课时。而ｘｘ年级的英语教学实际是一周两课时。根据目前的实际教学进度不可能在规定的时间内完成教材学习内容。需要考虑到的是我至少要留出两周的时间进行总复习。所以我的教学进度必须要快，可以用刻不容缓来形容。按照教学进度和现课时安排我从新制定了教学进度，每课完成3课时的任务量，每周必须完成一单元的教学任务。
（2）随着每节课教学量的增加，每节课的教学内容也必须要取其精华。我分析了新起点这套教材，第一层次是以学习基本单词和句子为主，第二层次是在学习第一层次内容的基础上，适量扩展话语、平行学科知识和双向文化等内容。每个单元的前三课时为教材第一层次学习内容。后三课时是第二层次学习内容。学生对基本单词和句型掌握的越牢，对后面内容的学习就越轻松。根据学生的实际情况，第一课时我把最基础和最重要的句子和单词放在课堂教学的首位。通过各种有趣的课堂活动提供真实自然的语言环境，让学生感知、模仿、交流、改进。第二课时我通常把旧知识的回顾复习放在一个重要的位置。通过多种教学手段和各种课堂活动巩固旧知，为接下来的拓展环节做好准备。同时完成教学各环节任务的时间在课前我都有一个整体的预设。每节课都在争取更多的时间来让学生进行练习巩固。
2、课堂教学方式手段多样化。
（1）对于年龄较小刚接触英语的学生来说，他们活泼好动，注意力难以恒久，是否对英语产生兴趣，关键是让他们在课堂上带着轻松愉快的感觉学习英语。课堂上我采用了大量的TPR教学法来进行教学活动，通过大量的英语指令让学生听后做，做中说，说中做，调动他们的多种感官进行单词句型的记忆。这样的课堂学习气氛较为热烈，学生的学习情绪高涨，注意力较为集中，收到了很好的教学效果。同时，在TPR中加入了大量简单通俗的歌曲歌谣，学生边表演边演唱的形式巩固了他们对教学内容的认知，提高了他们对英语学习的兴趣。
（2）多种教学手段的运用。来到ｘｘ小学，这里的教学设施为我的课堂教学提供了很大的帮助。从刚开始接触电子白板会制作课件，到业余时间的探索学习，我已掌握了如何熟练使用电子白板制作简单的课件，并能把它运用到实际教学中去，同时收到了一定的教学效果。这对我来说是本学期的一个小小的收获。每节课课前我都根据课堂学习任务精心的准备教具。比如单词卡片、实物和课件不单单是要求美观还必须醒目，最重要的是他们必须能为本节课的教学提供有效的帮助。为了不耽误时间，每节课课前我都提前几分钟到教室，把本节课的教具准备妥当。这些看似小小的事情，却恰恰加快了英语课的教学节奏，为课堂活动的准时完成做好了充分的准备。
3、加强写字教学。
规范学生的书写，及时给予正确的评价。本学期不论是在学生课堂的书写、上交的作业还是在期中、期末考试的卷子中我都要求学生尽全力做到书写认真、规范、美观，并及时给以检查总结和指导ｘｘ年级的学生刚刚接触英文字母书写，尤其是三年级学生很容易和学的拼音混淆，针对这一情况，我专门用一节课时间来教字母书写的笔顺、格式。为他们做好示范。在学生练写的环节我注重对他们在课上和课后的书写态度和书写成果给以及时的评价，树立书写较好的学习典型，带动全班共同进步。
4、加强课堂纪律管理。
ｘｘ年级的小学生很聪明，模仿能力强，接受新知识较快，但很多学生意志力薄弱，自制力差，课堂上爱分心，需要成人监督。这就需要我对学生在课堂上的纪律加以调控。要使纪律有保障，最重要的是备好课，让教学活动具有吸引力。备课环节我必须考虑到要增强教学各环节的趣味性和节奏感，面向全体，将任务型教学贯彻始终，不给爱分心爱搞小动作的学生分散注意力的机会。对于可能在某个环节出现不守纪律的现象，比如做游戏的时候只能部分学生活动，其它未参与者应该如何做，我都在课前已做好安排，活动前提出具体要求，这样就能保证学生活而不乱。
